Most agencies hand over a website and disappear. We build it knowing we will be the ones maintaining it.
When you need it
You have a website and you avoid sharing it with a serious prospect. That is worse than having none.
Changing a phone number means messaging someone who replies when they can. You have no control over your own presence.
Which is where most of your traffic arrives. And you do not know that for certain because analytics was never installed.

What you receive
This goes in the proposal. If anything here is missing on handover day, the project is not closed.

What it covers
Questions
Because the website is not our main business, it is one unit among five. If you want a brand campaign with video production, an agency will do it better and we will say so.
You get the revisions included in your scope. After that you can walk away, since the site is yours and it works, or add monthly maintenance covering updates, backups, uptime monitoring and change hours.
For sites with a blog and frequent editing, yes, because your team can actually run it. We tell you which we are choosing and why before we start.
The Commercial scope includes the technical foundation and content structure. If you want that, it is contracted separately with clear expectations.
